New Land Purchase by NCC in the Oak Lake and Plum Lakes IBA

It was revealed yesterday that Nature Conservancy Canada have purchased 47 hectares of wetland, grassland and woodland in the Oak Lake and Plum Lakes IBA. CBC have covered this on their website, including some quotes from Manitoba Important Bird Areas Coordinator, Tim Poole.
